Bowling for Everyone:

Hallam Grange Bowling Club offers a green and associated facilities where members can enjoy bowls as a social event for its own sake on most days of the week during daylight hours.

We play outdoor Crown Green bowling from April to October and indoor Short Mat bowling from October to March.

The club has teams in several local leagues organized by the Sheffield & District Parks Bowling Association, Sheffield & District Works Sports Association and Sheffield & Hallamshire Crown Green Bowling Association.

In addition to matchplay, there are also inter-club fixtures, friendly fixtures and inter-club competitions.

There is a tradition of a friendly welcome coupled with informal support for new members as well as more formal coaching.

The latest Fixtures and Teams are available to view and download here. (Once there are any results to show.)

Social Events: (see here)  - No Social Events have yet been arranged for 2022.

Throughout the year there are a number of events: Coffee Mornings, Beetle Drive and the
very popular Cups Presentation Dinner at the end of the Summer Season.

The club welcomes new members and prospective members. If your interested in bowling why not come along and speak to anyone at the Green or contact us through the contact page here.

The Bowls Club was formed when the Tennis club decided to form a first class sporting facility and to expand the number of tennis courts and to construct an Bowling green. These were constructed and formally opened by the then MP for Hallam, John Osborne, at 3:00pm on Saturday 30th April 1966 with some 250 people at the ceremony followed by a dinner dance in the new pavilion.

The clubs main aim is to provide, for the local community, a not too strenuous sporting activity which provides plenty of pleasure, interest and companionship for people of all ages. The club competes in a variety of different leagues and competitions and has open and mixed competitions that provide interesting, fun and occasionally fiercely competed events. These, together with various social bowling events, provide a huge variety of bowling for all to participate in, regardless of age or experience.
